What is Sustainable Engineering?

Sustainable Engineering designs eco-friendly products, processes, and systems, emphasizing energy efficiency, resource conservation, and minimal environmental impact throughout product life cycles, promoting sustainability for society and the global community.

Applicant's Background
Applicants to the master's of science program in Sustainable Engineering are required to have a bachelor’s degree or be in the process of completing a bachelor's degree. Degrees in any engineering or engineering-related disciplines are frequently represented among our program applicants, including but not limited to Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Science, Mechanical Engineering.
Students on average complete their degree:
Full-time: 1 1/2 - 2 years
Part-time: 2 1/2- 3 years
